This post is dedicated to the fun times we had with Ah Ma.
Like the time she enjoyed her ice cream.
And another time she enjoyed her ice cream with H.
She really enjoyed her ice cream, as you can see.
And the time she hopped on this bandwagon.
And the time she gamely joined us in playing with Daiso Christmas ornaments.
And the time she learnt to operate the iPad.
And when she was happily counting coins.
And when she got into the playpen to play with her great-grandson.
And when she braved the cold to visit her son with us in Canada.
And finally, look what I came across in her journal!
I’m heading back to Singapore again next week. This was the only trip we planned for even before we migrated, but in between, we have gone back almost every two months because Ah Ma was sick. My friends say it doesn’t even feel like I’ve migrated. I joke with them that it seems that I did not migrate; I’m just a nomad.
I have a couple of things to settle on this trip and I’m not sure how long I’ll be there for, but it feels strange to think that this time, I will not get to see Ah Ma.
